The warm sun is shining, floating on a beautiful breeze, but let’s not forget it is winter. A lot of people are still bundling up as they travel outside and the tips of their noses are the same temperature as an ice cream cone. I am very fortunate to live in Florida and even though there are times that snow is missed, it’s this time of year when the grass starts to turn back to beautiful shades of green and the snap dragons bloom magnificent yellows, reds and oranges that I feel so lucky. For everyone else who still sees so much white, here are some photos to warm you up a little bit…. Stay cozy my friends. As Phil the groundhog said, spring is just around the corner! Sending sunshine state warmth to you all!

Ready... set... GO! Our First Blog!
YAAA our first Blog!! So exciting!! As the smell of camp fire floats through the air, I feel compelled to tell my story as if I am sitting around that fire, stick with a marshmellow in hand. I have always been a writer and love telling stories. This is the story of Kirstin Meyerson Photography. I have always loved photography. High school was one of the most defining times of my life and the first time photography as a career really became a thought. Time goes on and life's adventures lay a lovely winding road and my camera always remained close to my heart when not in my hand. But the Corporate World came calling and I knew that I needed to take the opportunity to work for amazing companies. Travel the world some and perfect my customer service skills. I started this adventure as a fine art photographer of landscapes, nature, breath taking sunsets, candid life moments of friends and family while I worked a corporate 9-5 job. When the recession hit, as so many people in the world, I was laid off from the wonderful company I worked for and I began the hunt for another corporate job. At the same time I began to expand my photography to more structured portrait photography and candid life moments. Bult a studio in my home with my amazing husband and my two step sons helping so much. And with so much support and encouragement and passion, we decided to start Kirstin Meyerson Photography. My husband William is a superb photographer and I am so blessed that we both share this passion. Not only is he my business partner, but he is my biggest supporter and toughest critic and my very best friend. So with that little story said I'm going to start from the begining and mix some art photos with portraiture to get this blog off to a great start. Please feel free to comment and follow us as we continue this amazing, wonderious adventure. So many spectacular things to come as this story continues....
